Lifes little grumbles...

Do you love to have a little grumble about this and that?

Me? I think I'm getting old. Set in my ways even.

Approaching middle age, never thought I'd say it but I'm in danger of ending up a 'grumbly' old fart. Just little things which daily drive me up the wall and have me grumbling away to myself.

Young folks always wearing headphones whilst they're walking along, they drive me up the wall.

French drivers driving in the UK and forgetting what side of the road they're supposed to be driving on.

Boring old gits who think they're mightily interesting after downing too many pints of beer.

Corporate gobbledegook and small print, being sold on products which resemble nothing to do with the original sales pitch.

People who dawdle in supermarkets wondering around generally getting in the way of everyone else with their supermarket trolley.

The list is endless.

Question is, what drives you up the wall often and has you grumbling away happily to yourself? What does your head in?

Of course, I'm perfectly well aware this thread is in total contradiction to my sig link below so please excuse this little detail!

Yeah I have to say the older I get, the more I have to guard against my inward "grumbler". lol Not always the optimistic bright eyed bushy tailed fella that I use to be... '

I think we are just both mad because we arent 25 anymore Mark.

I'm going in the opposite direction.
It seems the older I get the less the small stuff bothers me.
I've narrowed down my responses to what makes me grumble to two.
For what everyone else does to annoy me I say "Bite my shiny metal ass".
For what I do that annoys me I say "You can't fix stupid".

The longer I live the more I am enjoying things I hated to enjoy a few years back.

I find I get irritated by people texting on their phones while walking along and not watching where they go...then we almost collide. Sometimes they also do it in the supermarket with a trolley and that can end up worse.

I hate taxi drivers talking on their phone when you're a passenger. I always tell them to hang up or I get out.

I find I get irritated by more than I used to maybe because my health gets me down occasionally.

I get irritated by people who ask for quotes on jobs and say they will get back to me either way and never do.

I hate bad health.... I think that's all for now.

    Florida Drivers-
1- We get some torrential downpours, many put their 4 way flashers on while moving, DANGEROUS! and against the law.
2- Texting, talking on the phone, Reading the paper, applying make up, etc. Pay ATTENTION to the road.
3-The Ass riders- Look,Pal. I am going as fast as I can and will get the hell out of your way as soon as I can. Being 3 inches from my bumper ain't gonna change that.

Yes, I spend a lot of my day on some of the most stressful roads in FL.(SR 528,I-4,I-95 and Fl.Turnpike) SO i may be a little sensitive about this.

As I edge closer to 50, tons of the grumbles are occurring more often.

One more to add here: OPs who start a thread and never respond to the responders
