Looks like ZeekRewards has been accused of a $600 million ponzi scheme.

The article above talks about a North Carolina town & what you get when peer pressure is stronger than common sense.

It's amazing people still fall for these MLM scams in 2013.

"I never told anyone to invest more money than they could afford," Burks snapped. "I didn't tell them to do that. Never."

He said if they lost money, "it's their fault. Not mine. Don't blame me."
BURKS knew about this, siphoned off money, etc... ****HE**** should pay everyone AT LEAST what they paid! But HE will get off scott free. The average person, even the like of BILL GATES or WARREN BUFFET has NOT ONE PENNY they can "afford" for a jerk like that! So the whole basis of his rant is LUDICROUS!

And ALL PONZI schemes PAYOUT at first. They HAVE TO! If they fail to, people will call them ponzi schemes.

Agreed the guy should pay the money back, but I doubt they get all the money out of him.

I'm more surprised about all the clueless people that bought into the scheme. I expect individuals to get stupid & try to rip people off (ponzi scheme) but when a lot of people from the same small town get sucked into the hype it starts setting the scene for a Stephen King novel.

Here's the zeekrewards website on wayback, I call dibs on the lawnmower, lol.

I hate to say it, and though I didn't get into any actual ponzi scheme, and never put much in, I wish I looked at these three questions more. I doubt people that would fall for ponzis will EVER see the wisdom inthis, but here are three questions you MUST ask!!!!!

    1. WHAT do they do to get the money!?!?!?
    2. Are they paying you an EXCESSIVE amount? If so, WHY?
    3. WHY YOU? If they want to raise money, WHAT is the benefit YOU bring?

MOST ponzisfail #1, and most others fail #2. Most other bad GRQS fail #3!

I remember about 2 years ago a warrior came here and sung its praises. Someone immediately called him out that it was a Ponzi scheme.

Good luck to him and everyone else. It sounds like half a billion is missing according to the article I saw.

When he promised a "guaranteed return of 125 percent every 90 days" that alone should be a red flag - an enormous red flag. That is 500% per year on invested money! Nothing can do that!

Except Internet Marketing... as he pulls the ends of his moustache and laughs wickedly.

I read somewhere that greed causes color blindness.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

People should really read the disclaimer and always equip your common sense. Always finding shortcut to success. Sometimes I think that they deserved it. Predators will die if the prey will learn to break the cycle and get out of the chain.

      Ponzis usually DON'T have disclaimers.
