OMG I am still laughing and splitting my sides. I can't repeat the domain here because it is a very bad 4 letter word. But...here's my second question. You know how marketers like to jump on things, like Frank Kern's "bad news" that was beaten to death. Do you think this kind of domain name is going to become the next trend? Are we going to see domains like... showmethe%#%&money.com I can't wait to see what's going to come from this. |

I doubt such domains names would become more popular. There will always people who do not approve of foul language. So by using such a domain name, you would be putting yourself at a disadvantage. It may be a lot tougher to get links.

always done his own thing so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. But that is a good point. How much will domains like these hurt you either because some people won't approve of them or because it will be hard getting backlinks for them? I am sure there are going to be many sites that won't allow you to use these kind of domains. Like I said, should be interesting to see who, if anybody, jumps on this. | |

I guess for each person who doesn't like swearing, there will be another person who finds it humorous and links to it just because of that. This is likely the approach that J-Mo was taking. When a site is controversial, it is great link bait. Of course you have to find a good balance between baiting links and pleasing most of your visitors.

I'm just speaking the truth. If anyone don't like it, they can go listen to some John Tesh or Josh Grogan albums instead. And for the record, I'm 100% dead serious. This isn't for shock value, or controversy. This is straight up how to fill your pockets with dinero. Nothing more, nothing less. To the point. If you don't like my domain name, tough titties. |

Steven, I don't think it's some type of trend that people will try to capitalize on or copy. Most people couldn't get away with this type of stuff. I've pretty much conditioned my audience to expect all kinds of crazy things from me. Also, once you see the marketing I'm about to do the name is a bit more appropriate. Right now it does have a bit of shock value. But here's the real reason for the name... I'm F*%&ing sick of seeing people try so hard, try so many systems, and spend so much money with such little results. All these "push button" and "automatic income" courses are just leading people downhill faster then a 18 wheeler with blown brakes. Deep down I truly believe I can teach just about anyone to make money. But I hate to say it... It takes work! Work that most aren't willing to do. And when I promote this, I won't mislead anyone and say that magically you'll become rich. I'll let them know that if they put in the "work", they will not only be rewarded right now, but for an entire lifetime, no matter what the selling platform. It could be Twitter, Myspace, Friendfeed, Facebook, forums, etc etc etc. The stuff I teach will work for a lifetime. |

Well, the domain name and the video don't speak to me at all. In fact, they both have a negative effect. Didn't like what I saw at all. But you know what? That doesn't matter one bit. I'm obviously not the market Jason is aiming at with this effort. Sure, he won't get me on his list for this product but there will be plenty of others who will like what they see. It's all about the target market. Laser focus on getting to know them, tell them what they want to hear and provide them with real value. That's what it's all about. Debbie |

I don't think that there will be anything like a trend coming up. Poeple might be scared to get on a porn site if they google those F* words, so they will be a bit scared... that's at least what I think |

I saw it, thought it was pretty funny actually. In fairness to anyone offended, he did put a warning message on the top of his email. Made me click through, and I'll more than likely check out the product when it launches, so I guess in that sense it was pretty effective. |

Don't worry about it people. The 'F' word is becoming more and more prevalent in society and as it does it will lose more and more of its shock value. People flip me off or yell F#%K YOU at me quite often (I'm sorry, did I make you mad?), I don't even get offended anymore. My friends use that word so much it's as if they are using it as a replacement for 'damn'. Remember when people walked out of theaters when Clark Gable (in Gone With The Wind) said, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."? It was scandalous! People were shocked! Lady's sensitivity was attacked! And people flocked to see it, and hear it, for themselves. The box office made a ton of money because someone was brave enough to flaunt current societal taboos. That one word 'made' that movie. It's just a word. And the word 'damn' has lost it's shock value just as the 'f' word eventually will. It's marketing genius to use the 'f' word while it still has some shock value. And anyone who knows Jason should be more than aware of the fact that he's going to do something like that. Talk about standing tall in the internet marketing crowd and getting his site noticed! That's exactly what we ALL should be doing if we want to be successful. You don't make money by keeping your site a secret. Look at the publicity he got in this thread. Do you think this is the only forum where it will be discussed? No. F$#k it. This is an internet marketing forum and I think we've just been schooled. Two thumbs up, Jason! Unfortunately, I couldn't understand half of what Tom Woo was saying! Something about making money in real estate, I guess. I have to wonder, though, how many takes did they have to make? I fully expected that the boat he was on would bump into some of the other boats that were tied up. Looked like it came close. On a related note, since Jason does video, how many people deliberately make their own bloopers to add to the end of their videos? I do that, deliberate, not accidents, but they look like accidents, and people seem to like them. Make people laugh and you make people feel good. Happy people buy stuff. Would've been funny for Tom Woo's boat to bump another while filming, especially if he fell on deck and said the 'f' word outloud. |

My view on the URL? It sounds like someone who is very fed up with all the hype and scams and has something seriously honest and possibly profitable to say.
