Sal... I had just started watching it, wow... and then the bombs went off in Boston.

I will get back to this, very interesting/disturbing.

I really do want a conversation about this, hope everyone can keep it civil! I saw a commercial for a drug today, for fibromialga (sp), and listed in the side effects are "suicide and depression!" .. What? So I have pain, and my alternative is depression and suicide?

Ok, anyhow, thanks for posting this!

Not much different from asthma drugs they advertise. There are several that the doctors are using that INCREASE your risk of dying from asthma.......um.......am I the only one that sees something very bizarre about that?

40 mil people were controlling their asthma with a non-addictive over the counter drug with few, and very temporary, side effects. They took it away from us because it was fluorocarbon. They have messed around over a year ignoring approval for the new non-aerosol pump. Why is this going on?

Because people didn't fall for the faulty logic of the commercial that said "If you use an emergency inhaler once or more times a week - you need this drug twice a day instead". ?????? WTF?

The drugs the doctors are using for asthma --- I won't touch them. They are badly addictive, don't work as well as the one they banned, they have side effects that are terrifying -- including death via the same thing you are taking the drug to prevent. I know people who take these drugs and they are sick ALL the time. I went through the same thing when I was a kid. It was miserable. I couldn't do anything - tired and sick 24/7. Got off them all when I was able to say "No more" at 18. My mother cried because she thought I'd die without those shots. Doctors had my parents scared to death.

I'd been given a "new" drug for years. Hated it, but they made me take it. Whenever I could I'd spit it out in the toilet. I almost flunked out of high school because I had no energy and couldn't think straight. I was sick once and took aspirin with it and ended up in a 3 day coma - and the doctors had my dad out hunting for which of my high school male friends drugged me with something illicit. They were NEVER told that you can't mix aspirin with the drug and when it happened they lied to avoid lawsuits.

When I got married at 18 and moved to Germany with my husband who was stationed there in the military, I went to a German doctor - and he set me straight about drugs and put me on natural stuff. The only drug I took since that day was primetine mist. Then they took that away to get us hooked on perscription horrors.

I already know better than to go there. Aubuterin (sp) is the biggest joke I've ever encountered. Used someone else's once just to see what it was. It's a scam - an addictive and useless one. Won't touch their pills and never will. Don't even wanna know. Been there, done that, never again. If things flare too bad, I'll snort a little bit from a capsule of benedryl - don't need to do that very often - sometimes in spring. I carry it in case of snake bite. They've got some really good herbals at Natureopathic offices, though - You can order them online but won't see them on store shelves that I have seen yet. They might be there. I'm well enough these days to not need much of them. Almost never.

It is kind of messed up that there is a "Food and drug administration".

      To quote wikipedia:
"A drug is any chemical substance other than a food or device that affects the function of living things. Drugs can be used to treat illness, relieve a symptom or modify a chemical process in the body for a specific purpose."
Doesn't sound like something you'd mix with food...
