    As far as the article -- good for her. Men are stupid to try this with a military trained woman. As many women who are now privvy to the fact that if they want to be safe, they need to know how to protect themselves, it's not real bright for a guy to attack someone just because he thinks he can. This guy was lucky and she let him live.

      It's such a shame that these things happen in this day and age. I can't think of a punishment bad enough for even thinking of doing something like that. Ending that guy's life (or any rapist's) is way too merciful.

          She's lucky the bus driver was a "nobody". Sometimes the women that report rape, or attempted rape in these countries are charged with a crime and are stoned to death.
