Sine Flu maybe in Oz

21 people with suspected swine flu are being tested in Australia, with authorities searching for 300 others who could have come into contact with the disease.

5 people in NSW suspected of having swine flu have come through the first stage of testing and have been found to have contracted an unidentifiable type A virus according to the federal Health Minister, Nicola Roxon.

Unfortunately long trips on air conditioned enclosed planes would just help spread the virus. We're heading into Winter soon so flus are fairly normal at this time of year. But now everyone's going to worry whether it's Swine flu or another type.

Interesting that in the US many people have recovered so far from Swine flu, yet in Mexico scores are dying. Must be the difference in living satandards.

    You know people really need to do some research on the "epidemic."

    People are dieing in Mexico because of the low living standards. The Swine Flu is just another stain of the regular flu, a little bit worse but not that much worse. Get a grip. It's not the end of the world.

    This is about the same thing as when the mosquitoes were carrying the west nile virus. Honestly, how bad did that get compared to how much the media played it up. It's all about fear based control!
