I was surprised there wasn't already a thread like this. I saw one reminding people to call their moms, and one asking what people are doing, but none simply wishing the Warrior Forum moms a Happy Mother's Day. So...

Happy Mothers Day to all the WF mothers out there.

You rock, and you know it!

    Thank you Dennis!

The troops have all left and I am now enjoying the sound of silence while admiring all of the flowers I got.

And wondering when I'll be able to plant them due to the frost freeze warning we have for overnight!

We've got the same problem, Terra. One of the kids gave my wife a bunch of flower for the flower bed and it's supposed to get down to 25 tonight.

On the other hand, the pizza was great!

Alison picked where we'd go eat for Mother's Day and she chose a pizza joint. With pizza being one of my favorite foods, it was almost like it was Father's Day . . . except I had to pay.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

It's supposed to get down to 27 here. There goes my peach crop again this year, I'm afraid.

Between my birthday Friday and Mother's Day today, I got 2 hanging baskets of flowers, two large planters for the deck, a mini rose bush, several perennials and 2 flats of annuals to add to the walking gardens. Planting will definitely have to wait and no planters and hanging baskets hanging or lining the deck yet.

Ha! You certainly made out better than hubby. Because the last two weeks have been between the mid 70s and 80s, the kids and hubby planned a cookout. So hubby was out on the deck grilling in 40 degree weather complete with high winds, and a snow shower turned to hail!

He was quite a trooper and didn't complain once, though.
