I've never got on with the Mother-in-law and today, when idly browsing an anagram creation site, it confirmed my suspicions . . .

Mother-in-law = Woman Hitler

    Thats pretty funny,HD.

    And it hits home.

My wifes Mom has lived with us for 11 of the 23 years we have been married.
She is 1st generation American from German immigrant parents.

Shes 81 now,and quite the stereotypical German.

When she throws her fits ( often), she stomps around and slams things, hence our nickname for her.....

I used to have a software program called Anagram Genius. I found quite a few interesting anagrams. It's surprising how many anagrams seem relationally appropriate to the original word or phrase.

Speaking of mothers-in-law though, there was a big fire burning in NW Wisconsin a few days ago, 9,000+ acres burned. One guy was being interviewed and commented, "We thought it (the fire) was going to go north of us but the wind shifted and we had to run for it. I grabbed my guns, my mother-in-law, and my wife - in that order - and we got out of there."

    It's all about priorities.

      Umm, guys...

I'm a mother-in-law to two sons-in-law and they both love me.

What's the vocabulary word for today?

      Stereotyping!!:p

If you fancy a holiday swop Terra, I'll parcel mine up and send her over to your two son-in-laws for a couple of weeks.

Now, just got to find some heavy duty masking tape, a thick hessian sack, and a cargo plane that accepts animal freight.

          LMAO!

She's really that bad is she? I'm sorry, I feel for you.

If we swap, does that mean I'm going on a holiday to the UK and more specifically, to your house?

            Terrable is the word.

I have my own special apartment when the mother-in-law comes to stay, so you'd be welcome to the main house.

How can you label that a holiday? Punishment might describe that better!

Oh, and in case you didn't figure it out yet...I'm passing on the invitation! :p

I meant the MAIN house. Doggone it, that kennels mine. Anyway, the old battleaxe wouldn't keep still for me to parcel her up so forget that rsvp :p

Um ... Everyone is talking about a specific person. I could be wrong, but I don't think that qualifies as stereotyping. Of course, maybe you're just Terratyping us.

Haha! Well, Terratyping isn't so horribly bad, is it? :p

My mother-in-law's funeral was 2 weeks ago today. She was a real sweetheart, and will be missed. She had been in the dementia area at a nursing home for about 6 years, and had not recognized any of us for the past 2 years. My wife mentally said, "good-bye" to her mom a while back, after mom's personality seemed to disappear into dementia.

I was luck to have wonderful in-laws, they were like a second set of parents to me.

My MIL retired two years ago and moved half way across the country to live one block away from us.

Fortunately she has got herself involved in lots of stuff so not around much.

My wife gets along with here way worse than me. The trip she took with her (and her sister) to France for a week didn't make things any better. lol.

Oh well - no big deal for me except when the wife is po'd with her.
