Yep. Couldn't quite make the hall of fame. But I enjoyed the game. My first 10/10 was early 60s of all things. Not my strongest category.

What's it take to make the Hall of Fame? I played about a half-dozen times. Best score was 9, worst was 6.

  As far as I can tell you've got to get 20 right in a row. I got 10 and then got the next one wrong which ended the Hall of Fame challenge. Damn.

  Oh, I'll probably never make the Hall of Fame then.
  
  This is a sad day indeed. I wanted to have "He was in the Music Hall of Fame" etched on my tombstone.

I got 9 out of 10 without having heard of any of the songs in the snippets before. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Getting 20 makes the Hall Of Fame.
I tried it on the default setting and couldn't do it. Switched to Pop Hiits late 60s and made it to 46.

I first played it with the "None Of The Above Option" be after getting frustrated I removed it, I think that helped a bit.

I've gotten 9 out of 10 several times but can't seem to get past that. It would help if they had a hard rock category. That's all I listened to back then.

Update: I played again after posting the above and got 11 right, but then got tripped on a snippet by the Sylvers. Never heard of them.

I ahd to admit I got mine in a category I did'nt expect.
Since Steven did a Kindle book on 60s music trivia I wonder if he will see this and give it a try.
