I thought this was a joke until I saw it on the news.

Check it out:

Kind of funny.

Stupor-heros run amuck on city streets. It's some idiots running around in their homemade super-hero costumes, thinking they can stop crime...

    DINGBATS!

But they did pass out some sandwiches to a few homeless guys...

oh. yeah i saw that on the news this morning.

Hey if these guys actually want to go around reporting stuff they see to the cops, i dont think it can hurt.

Yeah, eyes and ears are always good to have out there, but these idiots think they can actually attack the criminals, place them under citizen's arrest and then turn them over to the cops! That's how one of them got a dislocated shoulder while trying to stop someone from stealing a woman's car or something last year. They carry handcuffs and pepper spray while the criminals carry loaded firearms! Who are they trying to fool?

If they want to be cops, fill out the application like everyone else. If they keep this up, they're going to need a casket. And I'm sure the cops just love it, too. Rather than helping the police, they will more than likely be a problem for the them.

Not to mention the inevitable lawsuits the criminals will file against these delusional Spiderman wannabes who, by the way, do not have actual superpowers.

It's one thing to take an active role to help stop crime, but it's totally another thing to dress up like spiderman and go around looking for crime to stop.

These guys are going to get themselves killed... but they are entertaining.

But if we take an active part in stopping crime, we'd be putting police officers out of work! Not to mention the jail guards, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, probation officers, and all the peripheral employees around them.

Better to keep it the way it is. Victims of crime and the criminals who perpetrate crimes are actually helping the economy, if you look at it that way!

Besides, we need idiots in capes and leotards running around in our cities if for no other reason than to give us something to laugh about. Life is way too serious sometimes.

It would be a much better story if they all had some kind of unique skill - maybe one's good at skateboarding, another at gymnastics, another is an ace at the sling shot, etc.

yeah, nothing strikes fear into a criminal than a backflipping skateboarder armed with a slingshot, and wearing a cape.

Well, some people are afraid of clowns...why not backflipping, cape-wearing skateboarders armed with slingshots?

Honestly, if a criminal were to find something like that standing in front of him, ready to have a go at placing him under arrest, I have a big feeling the cops would have to come out to pick up a formerly backflipping, cape-wearing skateboarder, no longer armed with a slingshot.

Yes... clowns are pretty creepy, much more so than these guys... I think the creepy affect of a clown in a dark alley at night alone would stop some crime just on the face value of creepiness.

Then again, maybe I've watched too many horror movies with clowns. lol

They're like the League of Superheroes, only they're like Superbimboes. Do they even know how to use defense devices to aid them in their crime-fighting? And it would really help if they know some martial arts.

I'd think the only danger to a criminal was to start laughing so hard he couldn't run fast enough to get away.

Clearly many of those marked marvels (as in comic books) haven't seen the inside of a gym for a while.
