Can someone tell me that how should I pronounce meme. Is it "me me" with two separate me's being prounced or is it "meme", a one syllable word?

I think meem is the correct pronunciation - but I've heard some people say mem.

It's not pronounced with two syllables.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Speaking of pronunciations; The creator of GIFS won an award at the Webbys a few days ago and used his 5 word acceptance speech clearing something out.

    i agree -- meem -

however - The word meme is a shortening (modeled on gene) of mimeme (from Ancient Greek μίμημα Greek pronunciation: [míːmɛːma]

A simple way to remember it is that it rhymes with Phylogenesiticopogyistoreme.

That's how I remember it.

Meme is a philisophical term populated (or coined?) by Richard Dawkins. It is Meem/Meam (think mean with an m instead of N.) Pretty simple

That's what it was until a few years ago. Now it seems to mean any kind of image with a clever saying or quotation under it.
