Firstly, I checked the forum rules and saw nothing on talking about illegal drugs, but if I am wrong, please forgive me and I'll delete the post asap.

It's winter time in New Zealand and it's getting pretty cold during the nights (5 degrees). A few days after these cold spells, me and a few friends plan to go hunting for magic mushrooms.

I'm feeling very optimistic so I'll say it now: I will post up pictures of active shrooms in on Monday.

There's something special about consuming psilocybin mushrooms that you found in nature.

Got any stories, experiences and/or photos you would like to share?

I live in a state where a lot of people hunt shroooms - both the legal and illegal types. I've never done so and won't because there's too many poisonous look alikes and I'd hate to make that mistake. I'll stick to hunting my gemstones, which are also exceedingly prevalent here.

  Sal, if I ever get out your way, I'm calling you to go along with you hunting gemstones, that has to be a lot of fun. Forget the mushrooms for me, as well; I'd rather stay safe and not need a liver transplant.

wow those look like florida browns.

here the browns get you high, just like cannabis, but no visuals.

we have 7 native types here. cow fields and a light rain or mist just before dawn.

best picking time.
