Here's a cool (and fun) experiment to see if more people would take the stairs instead of an escalator if the stairs were made to be fun:

But that would remind people it's exercise.

Plus he didn't even watch the video. The video is two minutes long and he posted one minute after I did.

Since when do you watch an entire video?

Since I started watching videos. Especially short videos that are under 2 minutes that I comment on.

Since when do you expect me to believe you watched part of the video and posted your comment all within 1 minute from the time I posted? I think it's more likely you made your post without watching the video, especially considering you were making other quick posts at the same time.

Call me a cynic but I bet the real purpose of the whole fun theory is this:

They could have chosen a better ambassador then an automated camera that gives tickets...

Fun theory in this context reminds me of "welcome taxes" and "contribution"

I loved the grin on the little boy's face. It's a unique idea. Probably wouldn't work in the US because someone would quickly sue stating they "tripped on F#".

I wondered the same thing this time that I wondered the first time I saw it . . . was that 66% increase in people using the stairs an aberration because it was a new novelty, or did that percentage hold up over time?
