Escaped Nazi Found in Minnesota Bungled Cover-up -- Daily Intelligencer

He was found by a guy working part time to catch them, after the guy saw a memoir where Karkoc said he did this.

He was in the US for 70 YEARS though his group was SPECIFICALLY forbidden to immigrate to the US.

I read this story earlier on Google News.

They're talking like he can still be charged/deported.

As I recall, he CAN be charged, As such, he CAN be deported! Actually, it is more like extradited.

Yeah, and people are STILL looking for them! I guess they may start considering a person culpable at 10, and that means the YOUNGEST today might be 78. SO, for the men, it will be a steep drop, but could still go on for 5+ years. For the women, maybe a bit longer.

If the evidence concludes he falsified his entry documents then he should be deported for lying back in 1947 because he broke U.S. Law. If the evidence presented also concludes he served in the German SS, then he should be extradited to the country where he committed the crimes against humanity.

However, we also need to remember we here in the states have had military service men who have committed atrocities and crimes against humanity in almost every war since the U.S. became a nation. Hopefully this will make us think about the problems brought forth by any type of war anywhere.

Unfortunately Ukrainian SS are revered as heroes in Ukraine.

The fact that villages were liquidated and everyone burned to death doesn't change that.

Baltic States have the same kind of attitude.

Kind of tells you what they think of people not like them.
