how was that day when you asked her to stay with you for the rest of your life?. Just want some suggestions as getting ready to try this on my own girl now.

Do share your epic and out of the world ways to propose your girl that she may like.

So how did you propose to her?

Wow, more than one.... that's classic!

On a serious note, I just told her that I want her to join me in my journey and that we are going to win the game of life together.

The thing is , just say to her what's on your heart with all honesty and everything will just follow.

    Good luck.

She said those 3 magic words to me one day and I just knew we would be together for a very long time. "I am pregnant"....

But seriously, I don't think we did even propose...we just sort of knew we were to be married, and the rest is history X

After a nice dinner, I made her put on a blindfold and drove around for about forty minutes. I stopped the car and put a sign* around her neck and led her through a crowded hotel to a hotel room.

Before I left the room earlier, I lit a bunch of candles so they'd be lit when we arrived. (Hindsight being 20/20, this was a bad idea as I could've burned the hotel down)

When I asked her to open her eyes, I was on bended knee with the ring.

*As we walked through the crowd at the hotel - I believe a wedding reception - folks saw a man leading a blindfolded woman with a sign around her neck that said, "SSSSHHH!!! He's Going To Propose!" Nobody said a word.

She said yes. I let her believe, as she guessed, that we were in a hotel in Cleveland. It wasn't until morning that she realized I had driven in circles for forty minutes and that we were in the hotel directly next door to where we had eaten dinner.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

And then she called off the engagement in the morning?

Well, that would give the story a happy ending, wouldn't it?

If I had to describe it, it would be in the form of a cartoon and it will go a little like this.
