Blogger Girl Needs Some Smart Advice!

Hi There!

I just created a new blog, and I am not very internet savvy. Can anyone suggest ways to promote my blog on the internet? :confused: My blog is about dating and relationships. So far, I have been looking for forums and blogs that allow signatures, but I have had no luck! Please help, I need some good tips!

    Articles are one way to get some attention to your blog.
    Write, or have written, 5 - 10 articles and submit them to the top 5
    article sites.

      as well Do you think I should try to submit
      articles that are similar and/or related to my
      blog topics, or does it not matter what subjects I cover?

        Post articles relating to your topic.
        Use your #1 keyword/phrase in your articles at a 1% ratio.
        make your KWs a clickable link.
        Do the same in your signature for each article directory.

        And, create as many blogs as you can.
        Blogger Blog, etc.
        Put KW links in each post.

          Wow, those are some great tips! I really appreciate it, and I am for sure going to give what you have suggested a try Have you done any blogging yourself?

    You'd probably get more replies if you posted this in the main forum. Most of us come to the Off Topic forum to get away from business.

    If I were you though, I'd concentrate on creating some content before I bothered promoting the site. Driving traffic to a site with just two blog posts isn't likely to get you anywhere.

      Thank you Dennis, I appreciate the tips. I was not sure where to post this, but next time I will try the main one. I am new to all of this, so any advice is much appreciated! I am currently working on my blog, and in the next couple weeks there will be a lot more content. I am just trying to get a feel of things before I go full-swing into promoting my blog. Do I need to start a new thread...or can I somehow move this one to the main forum?
