AIG bonuses four times higher

The 2008 AIG bonus pool just keeps getting larger and larger.
In a response to detailed questions from Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the company has offered a third assessment of exactly how much it paid out in bonuses last year.

And the new number, offered in a document submitted to Cummings on May 1, is the highest figure the company has disclosed to date.
AIG now says it paid out more than $454 million in bonuses to its employees for work performed in 2008.

That is nearly four times more than the company revealed in late March when asked by POLITICO to detail its total bonus payments. At that time, AIG spokesman Nick Ashooh said the firm paid about $120 million in 2008 bonuses to a pool of more than 6,000 employees.

They lie, they fudge, they cheat - doesn't matter. They are "too big to fail" so we're told. Maybe that should be "too fat and greedy to succeed?".

Make no mistake, it they want more money, they'll get it.

This is nothing but a wholesale give away of American funds to corporations, an illegal transfer from the poor to the rich, and we have no say in the matter, even though it's our money they're stealing, thanks to that lawyer in charge of this country!

THANKS, YOU FRIGGING IDIOTS, FOR VOTING HIM IN! NOW WE ALL HAVE TO SUFFER!

    We have two choices
    1. bend over and take it and smile
    2. Boot everyone involved out of office.

So, what do you think will happen? LOL. If you read about the Fascist takeover of Germany by the Hitler crew, you can guess the outcome - same progression of events should create same results, eh? Don't need to read the whole thing, just start at the part where the Reich pulled the same takeover of finances.

Now the New York Times reports the government has determined Bank Of America needs another 33.9 billion $...more than even the bank thought they needed!

What the hell is going on? The government wants to give them MORE than even the bank thought they needed? Something really stinks in this cheese shop, and it's not the CHEESE!

Or could it be that not all of that 33.9 billion will make it to the bankers...gee, do you think?!

Rumor today is that 10 of 19 banks failed the famous (and secret) stress test. First sign of a problem we may see when the results are leaked later this week....

Bank of America needs $34 billion, report says - MarketWatch

Could it be failure of the stress test means 10 more huge banks get a few more billions each of our borrowed money???

Star - in the post above - did you mean "million" or "billion". I know it's minor difference on Wall Street and in D.C. but I'm such a nit picker about details you know.

Yes, I just noticed that myself. I made the edit to correct it.
