Is there a list of the top 10 *BIGGEST* WP websites?


Biggest would have to have 1 definition:
  • With the most pages of content - 1000's or 1000000's of pages
    Something like news related website!!
I've googled and can't find any meaningful results.


I just want to investigate how they can handle huge database and compared with mine, because i have wp with over 1,1 million posts -> t.co/LEtDlUGOap

        No, I am not kidding, and why would wordpress.com be an exception?

        The point I was trying to make is millions of rows in MySQL database tables is common.

        The sole factor in running massive WordPress sites isn't the size of the database - a HUGE database (tens of millions of posts) will run just fine if there isn't any traffic and you aren't running poorly-written theme or plugins.

        Investigate "scaling WordPress".

    There's tons of large traffic wordpress sites - many magazines and newspaper blogs. As for number of posts I have a few that are in the xx,xxx post range. However problems come up with db performance at this level.

    thanks guys, now i have some conclusion about how to manage wordpress with more than one million posts with monthly cost under $25.

    - use permalink "post-id/post-name" for performance
    - use plugin cache to serve static files [disk cache], in this case i use w3 total cache

    now i got 3 pages crawled by google every one second, sounds good enough for me
