Here's a video that purports to show a UFO landing in China

It amazes me that aliens always evolved as humanoid, and breathe the same atmosphere we do. And their planet has the same gravity, air pressure, temperature as Earth does. They also seem to be about our size.

Why are aliens never 20 feet tall? or have a shape different from ours?

Because they cost too much to design and make.

Interesting, but my verdict on that one was: Fake. All the circumstances fit together just a bit too well and I think they had a lot of fun making it.

  Yep, definitely fake!
  
  They zoomed in to the ship as fast as possible so you wouldn't detect the fact that it was computer generated.
  
  And no doubt, video experts may also say the ship, was wobbling from side to side, usually a good indication, it is hanging from something!

  Very hard to tell whether this is real or not, that is usually why l keep away from these threads, CGI, is so good now, it is very hard to tell?

  On a previous discussion like this, l found 100% verifiable video footage of a UFO, and took enhanced shots of it, (since the video image was too distant, to make out much, apart from the fact that it was moving from side to side).
  
  I couldn't be bothered digging up the video, but if you type in Apollo astronaut, UFO encounter, etc you will find it, (it has Buzz Aldrin on the video image).
  
  Ok, here are the images, and remember this thing did follow the Apollo astronauts on most of their moon missions from 1969 to 1972, or is real, but whether it is an advanced shuttle is up in the air.
  
  Could also be from the future, (the First moon landing has to be the top thing, on time travelers lists).
  
  But since this was under intelligent control, and l have seen the triangular window on other UFO images, l tend to go with the UFO idea. I know others will say they don't know what it is, but for me if it looks like a duck,.....etc!

  PS Ok, after reading the threads l felt that l should put it up! And l also put this up, because the chances of the Russians faking this with a giant model, in 1969 is slim at best. The Russians did launch a probe to get samples before the Americans at this time, but it didn't work!

  You should like the above one, since it is genuine, or did happen and is very hard to fake at the time, (radio controlled model is the only way back then)!
  
  It is like anything most UFO sightings are fake or something else, as are crop circles, artifacts on other planets, etc, but a small percentage is usually the real deal!

April - Thus far my verdict has been "fake" or "inconclusive" for every UFO/Alien video I've seen. Notice my thread title, I chose the word "purports" intentionally. As fakes go though, this one was better than most I've seen. I agree the kids probably had a blast making it.

It looks like the silhouette of a Volkswagen. Reminds me of using Flubber from the Nutty Professor.

Interestingly though, it is flying behind the trees and other vertical objects.

I was thinking of CGI when I wrote that. The giant plastic trees from Walmart tend to melt when a UFO comes that close to them. :rolleyes:

I'm not saying the tree was a CGI addition, just pointing out one possibility. The point is, you can't always trust what you see in videos. If someone was talented enough to create a UFO and alien as good as this one, having the UFO go behind a tree would be a piece of cake for them.

I'm not saying the tree was a CGI addition, just pointing out one possibility. The point is, you can't always trust what you see in videos. If someone was talented enough to create a UFO and alien as good as this one, having the UFO go behind a tree would be a piece of cake for them.

Well, take a close look at the UFO, it is wobbling slightly from side to side, so it is a model, hanging from some fine fishing line, but as to whether or not it is moving or has some gyro's in it, etc is harder to tell?

The actual UFO is good, but not great, maybe someone here, including myself that is a bit of a graphics whiz, should try to create a UFO, landing, or flying for the time restricted, and make it as real as possible and see how many can suss it out?

Hard to say what I would have done when I was as young as those kids. Now, I'm not much into running, but I'd probably approach it with extreme caution and observe from a distance.

Of course, I say that from safety of my desk. One may well reason they'd approach it or run away when there is no event taking place, but I'm not so sure that reasoning would hold up in a real event. Fear may take over, or curiosity.
