Hats Off To Our Mods!

I'd see them more as Luke or Obi Wan but I agree with the idea, for sure. Mods always do an excellent job and are seldom appreciated publicly. I know as I am a mod elsewhere. I say a HUGE THANK YOU! to our mods and admins for the amazing job you do in this massive forum.

While Paul is an awesome Mod ( I do not know the others), I think hats off to the members that do early morning reporting. I know both Kay and myself hit the forum early and try to get it cleaned up before most even log on.

OMG Terra! They didn't give you one??

PS: The point I was hoping to make was that without us members sending in the reports, the Mods won't know about the majority because Modding the upper forums takes up so much of their time.

It's good the Mods delete the spam but it's counterproductive for everyone on the forum to have to participate in trying to get the spam removed when a $1 forum charge at signup would stop most of the spammers.

  I won't name any names, because some folks would probably prefer I not, but the early morning contingent has about a dozen people who clear the boards for the rest of the members for the day. They're the ones who find this stuff and let us know what needs nuking.

Yep. The UK and OZ folks probably see a lot more spam than the folks in the US, overall. Largely because of when the spammers in India, China, and Pakistan are most active.

So I'm on the west coast and am on here between 1 or 2 am to sometimes dawn - for me it is bizarre late night........yet, I am part of the morning crowd. How ya like that one? All my life I've been a night person, and because of one stupid forum I end up one of "those" people? Sometimes it's just impossible to get a break isn't it?

I'm trying real hard to remember what happened when Vadar took his helmet off. Drawing a blank.
