Have You Thought About Buying Facebook Stock

Facebook stock? I am considering it now, it's where I think it should be and think there is some value in it?

    No. I would rather buy Nokia than Facebook. At least Nokia is trying to do something.

    Facebook hasn't demonstrated anything that would convince me that they're developing ability to monetize their mobile usage. Even FB's IPO papers said that it's one of their biggest problems. Their latest innovation was that "Home" thingy that nobody actually uses.

    Not to mention that when Facebook was listing people were still excited about their app platform. Facebook has done such a good job at killing the trust between them and developers that nobody in the startup community wants to develop an app for Facebook.

      Actually there was news that some think FB has finally figured out how to monetize their mobile usage.
      If I am not mistaken that news was the cause a an increase in stock value that just gave the Zuck another 3.8 billion I think.

    And, how much is one share of Facebook stock? Wouldn't it be similar to Google stock, which was around $700 a share? It might be a better idea to get a mutual fund portfolio rather than trying to individually invest into stocks in that way unless you have the resources to do so.
