Way to make my Laptop connect to Mobile Internet

So, it's possible for me to turn my phone into a wireless router for my laptop so I can obtain internet.

And my Tablets has a little slot on the side for a SIM card to get mobile internet.

Is there an adapter for a laptop, so my laptop can use 3G itself?

For example, I put a SIM card into my tablet and have a PAYG SIM for 3G.
Could I have an adapter to plug a SIM into my Laptop to connect to 3G?

Yes you need to buy a surf stick for USB and enter a SIM card. Lots of different contracts with and without flat rates are available. Have a serious look around, prices are different and a lot of overpriced offers are on the market.

    Yeah.

    Something like this Amazon.com : Huawei E1756C WCDMA 3G USB Wireless...Amazon.com : Huawei E1756C WCDMA 3G USB Wireless...
But I know you can find cheaper ones.

Before you go and purchase an adapter, make sure that you fully understand that you will have to pay for a separate cellphone subscription to use a 3G Wireless Adapter to remotely connect to the Internet.

Pertaining to your first question. Yes, it is indeed possible to connect your laptop, tablet, or other device that has Wi-Fi capability to the Internet via your cell-phone. Your cell-phone must already have that feature built in to it.

The method or feature for doing so is called a "hot spot". When using your cell phone as a hot spot, it becomes the Wi-Fi connection (wireless access point or WAP), for your other device(s).

Check with your wireless (cell phone) provider first, since most will not allow "hot spotting" with their basic plans, and will charge you exorbitant fees for data usage if you do not consult and contract with them first.

Many older cell phones do not have this capability integrally built into them. Most modern "smart" phones do, however.

Yes you can buy a mobile broadband dongle/stick that takes a sim card. Best have a look at those huawei modems on ebay that comes with the stock firmware thats not locked on any network.

If your tablet can accept the sim card from the phone, it likely has EVDO or whatever built in. OTHERWISE, you have to use a DONGLE! Of course, a phone hotspot can be connected to by most devices today through WIFI.
