Secondary hardrive data Deleted, where are the deleted files? on the primary HD now?

If you have 2 internal hardrives running together

primary has windows XP running on
secondary has data,

and data from drive 2 is deleted (the secondary drive)
then where do these deleted files form drive 2 get stored to?

to a section of the 'primary drive' (deleted section) , or somewhere on the secondary file?

windows is running on the primary hd1, drive.

    windows is running on the primary hd1, drive.
    The files would be on the second drive, just not visible to most software. If the second drive is not a removable drive and you use a recycle bin they might be in there.

    Deleted files aren't usually actually deleted. The pointers to the files are deleted. That's how data recovery software is able to recover the data.
