I wonder if this is the right place to post this thread. If it isn't, moderators please remove this post from here.

Someone is trying to hack my site and they are at it from past 24hrs! This is their IP address: 88.87.20.49

How can I complain about them?

    Complaining won't really help much.

Speak to your Web Hosting Company to make sure that your sites are effectively protected. Make sure that you have secure passwords.

IP Country is Bulgaria. You can block the IP in cpanel, but that won't prevent from defacing.

    Few things you can do...

Inform your webhost, maybe they can prevent it.

    Harden your wordpress security.

If you block the IP address in cpanel they can no longer interact with your site directly. They can infect the DNS still but you will not have to worry about them continuing their DoS attack. Yes inform your hosting company so they can give what support they offer.

Yes, you can block the IP address in the IP Deny section of your cPanel, but sometimes they will use a proxy to circumvent that - so you have to be a little more proactive

Along with the suggestions already posted above:

user this site to find out where their IP is located and who the ISP/webhost is:
Free Product Demo, Tools and Sample Databases | IP2Location.com

then use this site to find out the ISP contact :
Whois Lookup & Domain Availability Search | DomainTools

take a screenshot of your visitor logs showing the IP address and the attacks and send it to the abuse email or support contact and write something like this:

        To whom it may concern:

Someone on your server with the IP address of (insert IP address here) is attempting to hack my site as per the attached screenshot of my server logs.
I would ask that you please handle this accordingly or I will have no alternative but to take legal action.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

        regards,
        Your Name and email address.
Believe me, hosting companies don't want to have any trouble - the above works most of the time or at least it has worked for me -

        Good luck.
