My wife and I have been in this fight with nature with the desire to have kids, but dealing with the consquences of thousands of miles on a Mtn. Bike. Naturally in any successful marriage the one at fault is the husband so I'll take the hit on this fault. ANYWAYS. so this 3 year struggle with the emotional battle of we really want 2 kids, but under the circumstances we would be very grateful to have 1. NOW, finally we are looking forward to a family, but It seems we might have our desire for 2, but at the same time. Of coarse we are both excited and very happy, but in between all this joy I think, TWO OF EVERYTHING, TWICE AS MANY AS EVERYTHING, AND NO HAND-ME-DOWNS. If it were to be girls...lotsa lotsa shoes. I'm really concerned about making ends meet. Plus we have a double income now, but would have to go down to a single income We don't have any luxury expenses we can cut out, such as fancy cell phones or a thousand channel cable subscription.
I've been desperatly trying to find something I can suplpiment my icom with on top of my allready 2 jobs. We find out in 12 days how expensive our life is going to become. I think twins would be awsome and make for such a great family, but then I also think from a financial standpoint I hope for 1. I guess thats not our decision to make, but to support.

    Hey Bubba,

    Forget the financial BS.
    That'll work itself out.
Congrats on the twins. They will be the joy of your world.

I was thinking the same Larry.
Two things you learn when you have kids is how to be creative, and how to juggle.

Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful(?) world of parenting.
