Please list them here or tell about your favorite scenes.

I like the scene where I am going into the underground tunnel to get the idol and after I take the idol and try and replace it with a sand bag then all hell breaks loose and I am even chased out by a rolling rock.

I like all of them however if I had to choose I would say “The Last Crusade.”

I last watched it with my Brother and we were cracking up at some of the more funny scenes. Sean Connery plays the Dad role perfectly and the funniest moment would have to been this scene:

      Damn shame too.
It's kind of like "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" where George Lasenby played Bond.

But, Raiders is #1, and Last Crusade a close second.

Agreed. Raiders first. Last crusade for second. close tie between Temple of Doom and crystal skull for worst.

Wait Ron... you're Batman, but you want/need a bullwhip? Did you get the jacket made so it was big enough to fit over your cape? Or... do you only wear it as "Ron"?

Theresa: Ron puts on his Indiana Jones outfit as a disguise. He isn't really Indiana Jones...He's really Batman.

        Jeeesh!

Oh, I Liked them all, including the last one...except for two scenes that made me very sad.

Surviving an Atomic bomb....A direct hit, mind you...by hiding in a refrigerator....and not even getting a cut lip.

The kid swinging in the vines with the monkeys. I threw up a little..

but the rest was pretty good. I've heard Harrison Ford talk about another Indiana Jones.

The first was by far the best, followed by The Last Crusade...in my opinion.

Yep, true, the last one lost the plot a little eventhough tying in the Ark of the Covenant, with trying to find the alien thing, in the storage shed in the desert was clever.

The dumb monkeys that seemed to move faster than a living creature could probably move was, pushing it. Then the killer ants that ate virtually anything, pushed it some more.

The 50 scenes and the atomic town mockup were the highlights, although entering the tomb was good as well.

Yep, the first was the best, eventhough l have probably seen it 15 or 20 times!

There used to be a restaurant in the Crown Casino, Melbourne, that had an exact replica of the gold idol, Indi replaced for a bag of sand, and other well known movie trivia. But unfortunately it disappeared a good 10 years ago, Sniff!

Pity Spielberg couldn't do something like this again, Lincolm and Transformers isn't the same, or Rin Tin Tin for that matter!

Even though I thought the "Atom bomb survival" was kind of silly, the scene with Jones standing on the hill facing the mushroom cloud had to be one of the strongest images I've seen in any movie.

Thanks, that warms my heart. Oh, yes, I still have it even after going into the Temple of Doom. I admit it was a gross scene with the heart being ripped out of that person's chest, but again, I did not write the script.

    That was a great beginning.
However, I'd have to say I like the following scene where
he he comes bustin' ass over the hill followed by the tribe of natives,
Jumps into the plane only to find the snake.
After all he's going through, it's the snake he's worried about.

Harrison Ford was sick as a dog and couldn't go through with the scene as
written so he pulled out his gun and shot him.

Who knows though. There have been adlibs that MADE movies, or were big parts of them. It is hard to say what is best. Even some HORROR movies often have comedic scenes. I always just saw this as one of those. I forgot about the huge buildup of this scene. WOW! Of course, that makes it all the funnier.

No, the best Sean Connery would be used for; "We named the dog Indiana."

You know, and this is just my opinion, they tried to recapture the magic of
Raiders but they never did. Raiders was a unique movie for its time, which was
essentially a throwback to the old serials from the 50s. Raiders was as close to
a perfect movie as you can get in that genre. It was a tough act to follow and
quite honestly, they never quite hit that high note again. The second movie was
okay, but it was no Raiders.

          Nothing ever will be again.

Spielberg Understands what makes movies great!
He is a throwback from when movies were bigger than life.
He knows how to tell a story.

Todays movies are so caught up in reality they forget we go to theatres to escape.
            Spielberg 'gets it'.

There are a few names that all you have to know is, they're in the movie.
Nicholson, Hoffman, Ford, and, although he's not IN the movie, if you see
Spielberg's name in the credits, you know it will be good.

Ummm... No. That wasn't Connery's line. It was John Rhys-Davies'.

Along the lines of Steven's comment, Ford was responsible for another of the great movie ad libs. For the scene from The Empire Strikes Back, in which Leia tells Solo she loves him, he was supposed to reply with some sappy line. Ford surprised them with his now famous "I know."

            Classic stuff.

DAMMIT! OOOPSSSS, I mean gosh darn it! Sorry Paul! It's been a long while since I've seen that movie.

I promise I'll study up on my movie knowledge! I do love to watch Harrison Ford, he just makes every role his!

IN my defense, I am forced to watch a lot of football and NASCAR. So movies are a "treat" and usually only when he's gone to bed and I go upstairs and use the VCR. It's a small TV (for guests), but if I squint, I can see the picture pretty good!

Exactly! (except I thought the second one was dire)

Two favourite scenes amongst many are Indy in the map room and the scene with the old man, the monkey and the dates. Both very atmospheric.

Does anyone remember that the first release had a longer "opening of the ark" scene? I was so disappointed second time of seeing the film that it had been re-edited.

Yep, true, in real life, it would have smashed open, and Indi would have at least ended up with a broken arm and ribs.

But of course if he ended up like that, the story ends or the main actor ends up in hospital. Boring!!!!

We could probably blame the script writers for being lazy, and not creating a more believable scenario.

The only other scenario l could think of is he try's to escape in a car, that gets thrown but not destroyed. Not as exciting, so l suppose we have to accept it, for what it is and move on!

Just rented Duel, Spielberg second movie, (l think) and his first hit.

Look forward to seeing that again, since in AU, it hasn't been played for a good 10 years, unless l cough up $1200 and sign up for the LowIQ Foxtel package!!!!

Yeah, just finished watching Tin Tin, (the Spielberg computer animated one).

Not surprisingly it had the same or similar music to Raiders, similar action scenes.

The storyline was a little different, but still a very good story.

Spielberg was obviously trying to resurrect the Raiders franchise through this medium, but it didn't work.

It just doesn't stack up to real life, or real actors, but still worth renting!

I have to admit that the dog is annoying, and very smart, but they do make a joke of that in the movie.

Either way if you are a raiders fan it is worth a look!
