Yes folks, that's the name of a new album.

Guess who is recording that album, which includes covers of David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity,’ Steve Miller’s ‘Space Cowboy,’ Elton John’s ‘Rocket Man,’ and Black Sabbath’s ‘Iron Man’

...if you said, William Shatner, you'd be right.

I know a lot of you will be camped outside of Best Buy overnight waiting to be one of the first to get a copy.

The story above said it's a spoken word album, but it links to a song from it that seems kind of spoken, but also kind of like singing, and of course, full-on weird. Listen here...

I thought William Shatner was tone-deaf. At least he seemed to be the one time I heard him singing.

LOL - Did you listen to the song? You might still say he's tone-deaf.

    Who's the better singer?

    Shatner or David Hasslehoff?

OMG OMG OMG OMG. I just want to unhear it. Please let me unhear it. What it wrong with his head that he would do that?

    Holy crap. That was scary.

I think William Shatner really really wants to think he has musical talent.

Yeah, I can't help but laugh. I wish him well in his endeavor.

His name still has value, but the soundtrack makes me laugh.

        Yikes!

I can't even relegate that to the "joyful noise" category!

It's just noise, worse than scraping your fingernails down a chalkboard noise.

        Why Dennis? Just...why?

Rhetorical question -- there is no "better" singer between them. :p

Um . . . I have a mischievous streak! And I know there are a lot of Star Trek fans here. And I didn't want to suffer alone. lol

@ Sal, "unhear" it ... I like that. I'll see if I can find some more Shatner for you.

I just flat out refuse to listen to it. I've heard Shatner "try" to sing.

            It wasn't pretty.

No thanks. I'll pass on this one.

Aw, come on Steven. You haven't lived until you've heard Shatner do a cover of Black Sabbath's Iron Man!

PS - There are some decent guitar moments in it if you like hard rock.
