Hello guys and girls!

Few years ago, I was sitting in my office and suddenly, I felt fear, my hands were sweating, I couldn't breed normally. My boss took me to the hospital and they said there is nothing wrong with me. They gave me a whole bunch of drugs, and I was fine one hour later. I never wanted to talk to most of people (including my doctor) about this. This happens from time to time and I hate it. Is this anxiety? Do you have the same problem and how do you deal with it? Do you take some medication? What kind of music helps you to relax?

Thanks in advance!

There are lots of ways to deal with anxiety. I would recommend you see a doctor for the best medical advice.
If you want to chat in pm I may be able to suggest ideas to help you if you care to share.

Yep, had that happen to me once, but l had lightheartedness and a racing heart beat if l remember correctly.

You could try ending your workday with some funny videos, there are plenty online, unless language is an issue, then there are some!

The Brady Bunch, Lord of The Rings, and Harry Potter are some of my favorite dubbing or reediting ones.

There are also some very funny Star Trek ones as well.

Sounds like you're having panic attacks, usually caused by stress. (I'm assuming the docs ruled out any heart issues.)

I used to get them. When they first came on, I constantly thought I was having a heart attack. Once that was ruled out, I was better able to handle the situation. Knowing what it is helps alleviate the symptoms. Keep breathing and reminding yourself that it's just a panic attack. Taking a walk or finding a nice, quiet place helped me.

Once I learned to control it, the attacks eventually went away. I haven't had one in several years.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

i suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks and have been through the whole process over the last 18 months.my anxiety started with getting told i was inline for a major promotion at my work.similar to what you describe, constantly pacing and my mind was always racing.to cut a long story short it spiralled out of control,i ended up spending 5 weeks in a mental hospital, lost my job and im still learning why it all happened.if you go to your doctor they will prescribe you with beta blockers to start with.if that doesnt help they will put you on antidepressants as these also help with anxiety not just depression.i did 14 sessions of cbt therapy that helped me more than any tablet ever did.it teaches you anxiety all starts in your mind.you become more aware of when your anxiety levels start to rise and gives you the tools to bring them back down before its too late.the reality is if it reaches severe anxiety/panic attacks levels you cant do nothing to stop it and just have to ride it out.the key is catching it at the start.i suggest you start seeing a doctor/reading about cbt now m8 anxiety has destroyed my life,i lost my job, have 3 kids to raise and it could have been dealt with quicker if i had stopped ignoring it.sorry, thats not meant to be a sob story or anything.just the way it goes.now i find myself trying to break into IM with no clue where to start but know any high pressured job has the potential to put me back to a place i dont wanna be so determined il figure out how this works.you ever wanna chat pm me m8 il be more than willing to try help you
