What was the bloke who decided to have this done thinking at the time?

What was the surgeon thinking?

Why was the surgeon actually allowed to perform the surgery?

He's a trans-specied person. A dog trapped in the body of a human being.

A man is so smitten by good looks of dogs that he has decided to go for plastic surgery to make him lookalike a dog.
Someone should have told him that dog faces look good on dogs, not on people.

I think they both need their heads examined!

I'm not even sure that the guy's blood will properly feed the dog parts. What's he going to do when they all start to die. Did he have the doctor save his original parts? Or are the dog parts over his original parts?

The more I think about it, other than being more and more disturbed, I'm thinking the whole article is a bunch of hooey!

It probably IS a hoax. To take something from a DEAD animal? HOW could it be expected to LIVE!?!?!? And making the jaws, and nerves work? FORGET IT!

Ad that is DISREGARDING the fact that blood type and tissue weren't compatible.

That said, similar things happen ALL THE TIME! People have horns put in, fat injections, etc... AND, in the US, you are generally not allowed to discriminate!

    Not real...

"The images do not really show a living man with a dog's face. The images are the work of Brazilian performance artist Rodrigo Braga. Braga had a veterinary surgeon sew the muzzle, eyebrows and ears of a dead dog onto a replica of his face."

It's a joke. A silly silly joke. Nothing would fit at the jawbone, and the dog parts would rot and fall off in a week or two. Tissue from different species can't "take".

That screamed fake from the get-go, but I have no doubt that surgery done to make a dog-fetishist look canine can and will happen in the future. No doubt this very story has planted the seed in an extreme canine-lover's mind to undergo such a transformation.

There really was that famous case of Jocelyn Wildenstein, the woman who hired a plastic surgeons to make her look like a cat.

It probably already HAS happened! another guy had himself altered to look like a SNAKE! You REALLY have to wonder about people. I NEVER want to needlessly go under the knife or have an operation to change drastically from how I am.

I'm betting that, if they DID do it, the person would die first of a blood clot, septicemia, or some such. But yeah, no way.

Just the fact that anyone thinks this is remotely conceivable is funny. Just would not work.

In the not too distant past something like this might have been considered not possible...

      It's not real. Supposedly it's

These pictures are a part of (bizarre) art work titled 'Fantasia de Compensação' (Compensation Fantasy, 2004) done by a 'different' kind of Brazilian artist Rodrigo Braga, whose "replica" is what you see in the pictures.
