    Yup; The Earth is made up of meteors. All have organic compounds, which just means that the chemistry is the same as the chemistry necessary for life to exist.
    And you know what I find even more fascinating? The chemistry is the same...everywhere in the universe. Meaning the elements are the same, the processes are the same....

    Interesting stuff.

      Yep.

      As a "for instance", None!!! of the water on earth was here when the planet was formed. It's pretty awesome when I look out at the Atlantic ocean and think all of that water was brought here via meteor-express. A dang lot of meteors over a long, long time.
