    Good question!

Though I've earned decently online, I haven't exactly gotten to the point where I've been able to free up my civilian career to do exclusively IM. One part of my "work" has me bound by contract, with monthly training obligations, so I couldn't exactly 'stop' that even if I were pulling in 6 figures a month.

With that said, my daily civilian job right now runs 2nd shift, 3-11. Everything IM-related flanks that time frame. Unfortunately with a 45-60 minute commute, I usually get home around midnight, EST. Then, I'll usually commenting on a few blogs, work on some content, etc. Fortunately, I have my partner in crime (i.e. "my better half), my wife, working on online things, as well, while I'm gone....on top of juggling the occasional dirty diaper. Nap time for the little one are nice because they provide us both a little respite to work online....unfortunately, the timing of those "naps" can be horribly unpredictable....lol

Well, that's my routine in a nutshell.

The first thing I do in the morning is jogging.
Second: IM stuff that don't involve much brain power. Reading of mails etc
      Third: Creative work, writing etc
Fourh: Have fun after the work is done

      That's it

      Make a to-do list
      exercise
      eat breakfast
      check email once
      get to work

I made a decision not too long ago to check my email once in the morning, once at lunch and once at the end of the day. I can't stress to you how much more productive I was when I did this!

Drinking only water helps your body be more alert and keep hydrated. Caffeine does help to energize but effects the sugar levels making them slump after a while

My routine is more on a weekly basis.

I keep a day for article writing, another for learning new stuff and a whole day in the weekend for applying what I have learnt across all the platforms I use.
On Saturdays I plan the whole week ahead where possible.
I walk 20 minutes daily and meditate another 20 minutes.
From next week will be using blog comments daily as well.

      Hope this helps.

If you need ideas on how to streamline your routine IM me since my job is a part time goal consultant.

    My schedule:
Wake up from my 8 hour nap
    Eat breakfast
Drink tea in the living room
Start straight on writing, creating etc.
    Check emails
    Check Fiverr
    Eat lunch around 12 noon
Continue to work on my writing until 3-4 pm
    Eat dinner around 5-6 pm
    Watch my favoruite TV show
Go to my office to plan my next day
Set my timer to 8 hours again
Read for 1-2 hours before bed time
    Meditate before I sleep
Then fall asleep for 8 hours and start over.

I have to add that twice a week I work out for 2 hours (6-8 pm), After that I usually shower and then read. I like my schedule. After I started planning everything I was going to do the night before I got more productive.

Hmmm, get up, do Pilates, (at least twice a week).

•Turn on the Laptop or PC, if l have to defrag, etc.
•Turn the Defrag and antivirus on as well as pick a nice tropical scene to display while it does its thing.
      • After breakfast, and trying to find something decent on TV, (l will stream the news, if the usual crap is on).
      • Sit down to my Laptop, check my emails, go to WF, and see what is new, or comments, etc.
      • Make as many comments as l have time for.
      • Get to work, (2.5 hours)
      • Have lunch
      • Work for another 1.5
      • Have a shower and snack.

I must be boring you by now, oh, well, l will keep going.

      • Work for a further 2 hours, (including going back to WF, and seeing what l can find with the Curiosity raw images, which l then post on the WF).

      • Have tea, watch MASH, take a nap, watch Star Trek Voyager or Space 1999 online, work for a further 3 hours, watch some silly viouceover youtube videos, then go to bed, at 3am more or less.

      • I do go out a few times a week as well, so it is not just cave dwelling!

I would like to add, zombie killing and big game hunting, but alas, AU doesn't have many of those! Sigh!

I get up, turn on the computer, write music.

End of the day, I turn off computer and go to sleep.

        Rinse and repeat.

PS - One day it won't all be for nothing.

      Get up at about 9AM

Get to my retail store just before 10AM.

During the day, I write..until I get tired of writing

      I eat when I'm hungry...

I wait on customers when they come in...

I tell my employees what to do. I make a few cold calls on the phone, sell local internet marketing services. Answer client questions.

I go on an appointment when I have one...

I'm on this forum when I just don't feel like putting forth any effort..and I'm not busy.

      We go home at 6PM.

Read, work on scripts, books, whatever my current project is. Watch The Daily Show & The Colbert Report....read a little more until I feel like going to bed...

      I go to bed.
I travel some days giving talks and selling my service.

Most of people say the morning decides your day. According to me it doesn't.

I start with the most funny thing I find on the internet. Dont have a well formed schedule but a good practice for time management.

Always work when I feel I should and if its important. Maybe I'am not putting much efforts but thats it.

I make sure to start my day with a good run. I also eat a good breakfast which I don't do before. I only drink a cup of coffee and go ahead directly in making my to-do list. I'm now practicing of living healthily. I take a good shower then go to work with whatever is on my to-do list. I take breaks from time to time to relax and do some stretching.

A good while ago I used to schedule my day in very tight blocks of time. That doesn't work for me right now, but maybe later on I'll get back into that again.
