I'm going to live forever?

Google Is Launching A Company That Hopes To Cure Death - Business Insider

I have this horrible feeling about Google, a kind of impending doom feeling which I've had for a while. I don't like them much. Actually they kind of remind me of that company in Terminator2 that basically f*cked the world up.

I think it's good when huge companies invest in science and medical research. They won't "cure death" but they may have breakthroughs that delay symptoms of aging or prevent old age diseases.

Google is so smart they keep showing me ads for things I bought weeks ago..so I'm not worried about Big G taking over the world.

Thinking about it I suppose the longer people live the longer Google can make money off them.

A good place to start is to screw greedy Phar, co, and their bankrupsy price tag cures, for backdoor cures with little cost, little to no side effects, and 90+% success rates!

At least people wouldn't have to ditch retirement and take out a second mortgage, in order to have unnecessary procedures, to cure or delay certain diseases!

If aspirin came out later, it would likely cost about 50 cents or more per pill! If they claimed to cure many things, it could cost over 1 per pill. WHY? Because of all the costs to get it APPROVED! Do you realize there is a special exclusion written in JUST for things like aspirin, protein, and creatine? Without that, they would cost a fortune.

WHY do you think the ******SAME******* company sells things in the US for more than they sell them in mexico, canada, or europe? You can blame the US government for a lot of that!

If people live forever does that mean they can never retire?

Well, they ARE SKYROCKETING! Some are reporting that prices, already up like 60% over last year, will be up an additional 400%+ NEXT year. It is due to get worse. Doctors are leaving also! Companies, like IBM, actually DROPPED many from insurance! So saying health care costs will skyrocket is like saying that there will be oxygen in the air within the next hour.

Hmm - with a population of about 7.2 billion at a life expectancy between 50 and 83 (depending on where you live), what do you think would happen to the population if we lived forever?

I suggest we find other habitable planets before curing death...
