Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have revealed how they came to collaborate with Julian Lennon and Johnny Depp on their new album.

Tyler told Kirsty Lang on Front Row that Lennon overhead him singing in the shower when they were staying in adjoining rooms at the same hotel.

Aerosmith's frontman also revealed that he invited Johnny Depp to sing backing vocals after meeting him in France.

    I saw them once.
They were warming up for Foghat.

I was really looking forward to hearing them because "Dream On"
had just come and I really liked it.
It was the only good thing they did.
Besides that, I hated them. Steven Tyler in particular.
    And he's only gotten worse.

I would most definitely pay to see Julian Lennon.
But, I pay to NOT have to see Steven Tyler.

Well yes, yours does appear to come from a male's perspective, but with me being a female, my perspective is completely opposite.

I love Steve Tyler and am impressed with him, I mean for his age, he's still got it!
