Well, looks like Hanna is coming our way. ![]() Hubby can't leave (because he is in law enforcement), but the kiddos and I might be evacuating. ![]() And Ike is right behind Hanna, so who knows what is going to happen with that one. ![]() Ugh. Hurricane Season. ![]() I have lived in Charleston most of my life. It seems like if you evacuate once in a season, you do it several times. But there are some seasons when you don't leave at all. Translation: "When it rains, it pours." |

Good luck to you. I know how you feel - when I lived in the foothills of the Owyhees it was fire evacs several times a summer. Different disaster - same crapola except you don't have to go too far to get out of the fire range. I hope for you and yours this one peters out like Gustov did before it hits. |

Just had my turn with Gustav - good luck, kid. One of my neighbors is a cop - and his wife took the kids out of here. If nothing else, it can be uncomfortable for children with power out, heat - and the flies over there bite! kay |
