For Aussie Doctor Who Fans

ABC's iView is currently showing the very first Doctor Who story (in four parts), as well as the very first Dalek story in seven parts.

The first one, entitled An Unearthly Child is available here, as well as the Dalek story (simply titled The Daleks).

For non-Aussies, the site is geo-blocked, so won't, or at least shouldn't (ahem), be viewable from outside Australia.

They're available for next 53 days so turn off your TV and watch some classic Doctor instead.

      Yep, thanks for the heads up, l did watch the lot when it was in tv, many years ago, and eventhough fascinating to see the very first ones, some were pretty bad, special effects wise!

      I couldn't stop laughing, which was a pity as l wanted to take it seriously? :rolleyes:

      I may take a look at the early one,s but it's the Ian Baker ones that are my favorite's!

      The doctor acting intelligently, (instead of on Steroids) and l know a bit psychotic at times, with interesting storyline, (not a constant rehash of horror story genera) were the best.

    Ian Baker?

    If you are such a fan, why would you call Tom Baker or Colin Baker IAN Baker??????

    I am guessing Tom and not Colin as Tom was much better than Colin but neither are Ian.

      Yep, tried to Google it but all l could find was a stupid site that referred to him as Doctor number 4, so l had to wing it.
