Christmas gift for a 2 year old girl?

Please help me. What should I give a 2 year old girl for Christmas?

I can't come up with anything. If it had been a teenage boy, it would have been sooo much easier. So maybe someone here can help me with some ideas?

She like to be active. She runs around all day long and scream, jump, play and exploring the world.

Thanks.

Seems to me that at the age of 2, jus about anything will please them. Her parents would probably appreciate gifts that are educational. A nice soft cuddly stuffed animal is a great gift for a small kid, too.

      Jimmy,

I have found that at two years of age, they love toys that are interactive whether it be an educational toy where they press a button to hear the sound animals make to dolls or stuffed animals where you press their hand or squeeze their belly to make them talk, laugh, light up, etc.

Anything that has a reaction to something they do really goes over big.

My 6 year old's favorite stuffed animal is a little owl I won from one of those claw machines when she was two. The gift doesn't matter, the memory that keeps is the way they felt when you gave it to them. Two year olds are pretty easy to please.

My sister got a stuffed dog when she was 2. It was kept on a shelf in her room, but she never really cared about it. When I was around 10 months old I staggered (or whatever new walkers do) to the bookshelf and grabbed that dog. It is still with me, (but I don't take it everywhere I go anymore. LOL). About any pic you see of me until I was around 7 has that dog in the picture.

So my favorite toy was a hand-me-down that I basically stole. LOL.

Maybe you could ask her mother. But try to consider that she IS two, so make sure things are kind of big and solid, so she is safe and can enjoy it for a while.

Of course Steve. I will open the boxes first and look for small parts and remove them if there are any.

It's for my sister by the way.

Well, I just figure her mother would know what she wants and, failing that, would know what she would likely like. If she is your sister, so I assume you have the same mother, your mother would appreciate it all the more, that you care to ask.

    Jimmy,

Can we at least get Halloween over with before thinking about Christmas?!

Lol I know. It seems like the Christmas preperations starts earlier and earlier for each year. In a few years, I guess we're starting with the Christmas preperations in early January.

        Ha!

Don't feel bad Jimmy. I started some Christmas shopping January of this year with all of the New Year sales and blow outs. Then I picked it up again in August; a little thing here and there.

I guess we can do it, we just can't talk about it. :p

According to my granddaughters, anything with flashing lights and sounds will do the trick. On the youngest ones birthday just a few weeks ago once she opened one of the gifts we gave her - with flashing lights and sound - she didn't even want open the rest. Her mom had to put our gift away until she opened the rest.

If she doesn't live with you, buy her a drum set.

          Don't forget a big amplifier.

...And a even bigger amplifier that's amplifying the sound from the amplifier. Or buy 10 of them and put them in a circle.

Pretty funny guys. I did that to my sister while she was raising kids. They got a mini-piano, and drums, those giant soap bubbles that pop and get everything sticky. The present I thought the least obnoxious turned out to be the worst. It was a little 4 ft tall remote control robot. I guess my nephew would run it around behind my sister so she was always running into it and falling over it.

My sister hated me for around 10 years but the kids thought I was the greatest.

The fun part is she always threatened revenge but I never had kids.

Maybe you could get her a puppy.I would go with a small breed, though,so when it grows large, your daughter won't get knocked down,by it.I have a pomeranian, and a german spitz. Both are small, and very friendly, and always let me know, when someone is at the door. They always want to give kisses,to me.You can watch them bond together,as they grow.

If she had been a few years older, then yes. But I think a 2-year-old is a bit young to have a puppy.

Thanks. But I'm not sure about the eyes. It looks like they can easily fall off--something a 2-year-old might put in her mouth.

My son has a lot of fun with Magformers. I think they're too big to swallow, but they do have a warning label that it is not for kids under 3.
