    It's a very literary and literate country, by comparison with many.

    A few months ago, I read something written by the exports manager of a leading UK publishing conglomerate, who said that the number of books per capita read in English alone by the Icelandic population is more than five times its UK equivalent. A very small population but still a significant export market for UK publishers.

    I actually toyed with the idea of going there. Maybe some day I might. I can speak a fair amount of a related language and could use it to even get danish citizenship.

      I've been inclined to want to go there, too. Not sure yet, but if this country trashes out bad enough, that's where I was thinking I want to end up.
