I have recently decided to change where my website is hosted and was wondering what hosting services are used and recommended.

godaddy and hostgator are recommended, but there are tonnes out there ... just compare the features and the price .. make sure the customer services are good, at least they respond fast ...

I use Bluehost which is great for your money's worth though the customer service is pretty poor.

Really depends on your needs... I'm a happy justhost customer.

As far as specific offers go, generally the unlimited plans are better - and you should watch out for coupon codes, and the "free domain for life" offers that are quite common, even among the ones with a reputation Make sure you don't go unlimited/large-caps with lesser known hosting providers, they usually over-commit and don't know what to do with, for example, sudden traffic spikes.

    Good luck!

Another vote for HostGator. Used them for a couple years and didn't have any noticeable downtime or need to contact support. Discountasp is another good host if you need Windows hosting.

Check uptime and how long they have been in business.
And google the webhotel name and review/critic.
Don't signup before you have checked them out.

    "Unlimited" has always a limit.
    Check their T.O.S.

Like mentioned above. There is no such thing as unlimited so keep that in mind.

I would suggest 9cubehosting.com Recently i hosted my website using this site. They have good server speed and provide well customer support. like their services. So only i would recommend this one. Here you can get Linux based web hosting plan at low cost..After that you can change you database and files ,transfer to your new host manually.

There is no "best host" unless you can give some more information on the site and what your requirements are. Is a HostGator baby plan the best to run a ColdFusion site on? No, but many here will most likely spurt off that it is.

We need more details on the type of site you have.
