Hi, how many hours can you sit in front of your computer doing marketing or whatever you do

Back in the mid-90's, I actually got so addicted to teaching myself web design that I changed my eyeglasses prescription over a couple months of intensive study. Oh, and I also got a little case of carpal tunnel.

About a half an hour. I get up and go get more coffee or whatever I'm drinking, or let the dog out, or, or, or...then come back. Sometimes I will go 50 minutes, but then take a break. Schools are set up in 50 minute classes because that's how long it's healthy and conducive to concentrate at one sitting. I sometimes concentrate on the same thing for full, and very long days, but there will be the 10 minutes breaks every hour, and there is a long break in the middle of the day for sunshine and fresh air, so 1 hour online and 16 hours online days are met with the same routine.

  • Our bodies were not made to sit for the lengths we do in front of computers. Make sure to stand and walk often so the blood does not pool in the legs and posterior.

Marketing is not a battle of products. It is a battle of perceptions.

The other day, on a bus, I was chatting with another guy who is on computers a lot. We both agreed that it can feel like a life but really isn't. To some extent, it felt like I was having a chat with myself, lol. Sometimes a person should have activities in the physical world.

I'm usually on the computer at least 10-12 hours a day. Sometimes longer. But I do try to take breaks every 30-40 minutes and get up and walk around outside if the weathers nice.

If the weather's not nice then I get up and walk around inside, get coffee, etc.
