If he can avoid having his privacy invaded by google removing his streetview pictures of his house, they claim to have a button which allows you to remove your own house from the service, I recommend everyone do this, because google streetview is an invasion of privacy. They do not specifically request permission to photograph your property.

I have a list of the top 400 Internet marketers addresses, some are home addresses, some are business addresses, what would you say if I gathered photos of all their houses, and put them up for everyone to view?

I don't see it as an invasion of privacy - your street and your house are not hidden from public view and can be found searching local records. Anyone can drive by and take a photo and you can't stop them.

However, I do agree removing your property from google is a good idea - as it makes it too easy for anyone, anywhere to find you.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Do we have something to hide as internet marketers? What are you afraid of, that someone won't like the color of your house and tell you so online? If you run your business above-board there should be no problems, eh?

I just don't need Google catching me running through the backyard in my unders taking the trash to the alley late at night! I always forget what day trash day is around here.

Now someone as important (and wealthy) as Sir Paul, I can certainly understand, as we shouldn't start letting the wackos learn the layout of his property. Someone stabbed poor George, remember, not to mention someone shooting John. The wackos are out there. It's a security issue, not a privacy issue.

If you are wealthy enough to be able to afford a house with large lawns behind tall walls and a gated drive, you should be able to expect that the average person should not be able to view your property any better than they can from the street. Why else put up the walls and have a gated drive?
