Mysterious Box Found Containing Strange Texts, Drawings, and Diagrams.

Found this on Reddit and thought some of you guys might enjoy it.

Back story:

"So a friend of mine found this box by the trash, it is full of wonderful, crazy illustrations. Clearly something happened to this guy that was very memorable. It measures roughly 29" by 38" and almost all the drawings are very large.

The man on the envelope, Daniel Christiansen, was born in 1904 and died in 1994, putting him in his 60s or 70s when some of this was made. He was a native of Skodsborg, Denmark, arrived in the US aboard the ship Olympic in 1927. Enlisted in the US Army in 1942 at Fort Dix. Got out in 1945. His occupation at the time was carpenter. I haven't been able to learn much about his later life, but it looks like he didn't have any family and lived in a pretty crappy neighborhood."

    I read in Le Monde once that there was this one janitor who died and was basically a recluse,

    they went through his things and found out he was quite a talented painter, he just kept his stuff in the attic and showed nobody else. Still, it was worth exposure in Le Monde.

    This is what I thought of when I saw the one posted here:




    After looking at all of the pics and reading a few excerpts from the writings, it seems that this guy knew things that were secret from the military.....but then goes off into some sort of schizophrenia with the obsession on the creature drawings. I would hope that was what was going on anyhow. I can't imagine a creature from anywhere looking like that.

    BTW -- I went though all those pictures and right in the middle of them is a pic of a chunk of rhyolite. WTF? I am not getting the connection of all of that with a chunk of rhyolite. Doesn't make sense at all.
