Hello, i'm asking how to improve my English and so i can offer way better artickle writing and etc.

      Sort of Wuthering Heights meets the Rolling Stones.

      Possibly the worst way to learn English is to attempt to write an article, after attempting to read a twee novel, after attempting to decipher the lyrics of most modern music. I dread to think how the end result would read.

      Join a free online English tutorial site I'd say, or chew on a dictionary for a while.

    Hee, hee! Now that tickled me.

    I know the English language is difficult to learn, especially when trying to sound out words for spelling. We have many exceptions.

    I see you know the ck for the "ka" sound, but in English, it isn't always that way.

    It should be spelled "article" and "thanks", by the way.

    You can consider that just a little English lesson.

    Here's another:

    "I before E except after C, or when spoken like ay as in neighbor and weigh".

    you can read novels ,newspapers and dictionary.Learn new words and look at the pronounciation of the words on google.then also you can give the SAT exam. Secondly you can give ILETS

      Ken nailed the biggest part of it: Read. A lot. If you take one piece of advice from this thread, that's the one.

      The other part, although much smaller, is to spend time in conversation with people for whom English is a native tongue. That can help you distinguish between conversational English and the written form of the language, which can often be very different.

      Kenneth Tang suggests that learning to wrote poetry in a language will make you more aware of its nuances. I can see a lot of truth in that, but it may be something you need to wait on until you've got the basics.

      Syntax is the thing that will take you the most time, I suspect. It trips up more people than vocabulary or spelling.

    Best way to improve your grammar is is to read a lot.

    For intonation I would watch movies in English with subtitles in your language. You'll pick up much faster that way.

    ThanK you all.
    I do watch alot of movies and i don't use subtitles.... i did watch dr.House ... and it wasan't a probelm.
    The problem comes when i have to type .I do read alot but i assume everything true mi mind and i don't remember all the words * how to type them *.
    This is the problem as you can see.
    I can read and speak very good, but my typing / writing have some gramar problems.
    This is where i need help and it won't come from music or movies, neither than reading.
    Shoud i get 2-3 books and re write them in word and rework my misspeled words?

    * Bay the way by native language is harder than English, i'm from Bulgaria. Our language is way harder than English. For more info ask uncle GeOOrGe *

    A common way to learn a new language is to join a foreign army as a mercenary.

    For example, if you want to learn french you can join the French Foreign Legion and they will give you French language classes for free(!). They will also give you a friend that speaks french.

    While not perfect, you can learn a lot about writing in English by getting an English language version of Microsoft Word or any other text editor or word processor that had spelling AND grammar checking and using it to write. The programs will automatically point out most mistakes.
