We all talk about how important it is to effectively communicate with your customers to make the sale. We sometimes forget that communication is also a basic human need. The need to connect with the people we love is as important and brings hope.

The people listed in this story lost everything to the super typhoon. They need food, clothing, and shelter. They could have easily just asked for relief goods. But they couldn't help themselves from trying to send messages, through scraps of paper, to their loved ones in the hopes that these messages would reach them.

It's pretty painful to read and I know there are parts here that you guys may not be able to understand. I just hope that for those of you worried about your friends and family in the Philippines might find some measure of relief if you find their names here.
