I'm thinking that this one is also one that would be very relevant to some of the old koots in here:

Oh, that's good news! I eat peanut butter almost every day. One of mankind's greatest inventions.

It won't STOP it Dennis - just diagnoses it.

I'm deadly allergic to it. I think I'll avoid the anaphylaxis that goes with it and just guess if I'm losing my marbles.

Wow Sal, did you change the link? If not, I totally saw something completely different from the one you have now. I could have sworn the link was about peanuts or peanut butter halving the risk of heart disease.

    Maybe I am going loony.

Yeah I did - I have no idea what the first one was doing. It looked like a cut and paste of two different links to me. I fixed it whatever it was doing. But - you saw it too so I'm not senile.

BTW - don't eat a LOT of peanut butter - it has an iodine blocker in it and can mess with your thyroid.

A Corgi! I just took a little Corgi home after baby sitting her for a couple weeks.

I never had peanut butter growing up for some reason - but I like it with celery. A little PB on a cracker is a great way to give a dog a pill, too.

Whew! That's a relief. I was starting to think I was going bonkers. I guess I still could be going bonkers, but there is one less bit of evidence now.

To this, I say *******SO WHAT******! There are at least 3 ways to diagnose the same thing, and even MORE, that are CHEAPER, FASTER, EASIER, and LESS INVASIVE!

    1. Is fast going the way of the stone age! People oversimplify stethoscopes and all to tell ONLY pulse. FORGET IT! My heart doesn't sound normal AT ALL!!!!!! Yet a new nurse FAILED to detect a difference. SHE now knows better, and I learned of her mistake, because her manager asked her to listen to the VERY different beat I had to see the difference. Instead of the normal lub dub, MINE goes lub *****CLICK*****! Emphasis ITS! Most electronic gadgets only detect PULSE!
    2. Is fast going the way of the stone age! People oversimplify blood pressure!
It USED to be a standard way to detect my problem!
    3. For some reason, is RARELY done! HECK, since 2005, I have only had it done about 3 times. The test described in the OP will likely even be RARER since it detects LESS, is more expensive, takes more space, etc.... I SWEAR, the machine certainly costs a FRACTION of the price of a CAT SCAN machine, isn't confining at all, is mobile, and can detect pressure and pulse, of each VESSEL, and of course blood flow. It uses sonar and the doppler effect. If they had to have a quick turnaround, it could be in MINUTES!

BTW I happen to have a problem that COULD very well have been a heart problem. EITHER of the first 2 could have PREVENTED my surgery, etc... HECK, the third one might have ALSO! Don't you just LOVE 20/20 hindsight?
