Anyone heard of this yet? Saw it in the news and thought it was amazing.

    Interesting concept and looks cool but I dont think people will trust it , even if it works.
    I mean trusting an airbag in a car is one thing but one on your shoulder...doesnt make me feel confident.

    Are people that really helmet averse?

    I have never heard about it before and it looks definitely interesting. However I have to agree with Eddie on this one. People won't trust it and I can't see it as a successful product because of that.

    I wouldn't personally trust such a helmet too and I am not a paranoid guy.

    Not sure if I would want to wear that thing around my neck. There are laws in California that require bike helmets be worn and if those who would enforce those laws don't see you wearing a helmet, get ready to explain yourself.

    Clever idea, and it will probably catch on with neo-yuppies. I wouldn't wear it, but then again, I don't wear a regular helmet when I ride.
