I have been re watching the series on net flix., I forgot how funny
it was. If there is any "T.V" family that would describe my child hood
it would be Malcolm in the middle. All my brothers agree.
I got my mom to watch a few episodes once .. she just got mad at the
idea.

What would your TV family be?

The best episode is the one where Reese is running with a pack of dogs, lmao.

Another funny episode is the one where someone was pissed off at the family & dumped a full garbage truck in their front yard.

That 70's show pretty much sums up my high school days and home life.

That 70's show wouldn't describe my family life growing up, however, my kids insist that hubby and I are Red and Kitty to a T, lol!

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

          You knew wrong! :p

I hardly ever drink and therefore, I slur my words and giggle before I finish one wine cooler and if I finish a glass of Asti...Oh boy!

LMAO - I can see that a tad.

As far as the Asti - with friends like me, you never have to worry about being stuck with more than you can drink on your own.

In my family my dad was actually more like Ward Cleaver and Mom was like Kitty Foreman. If I would have said that my life was a mix of Leave it to Beaver and That 70's Show - it would have been too confusing an image for people to "get", though, I think.

So, you're life was like Leave It to That 70's Beaver?

Haha! That reminds me of something that happened a while back, it was 2009 I believe. I was going to Missouri to visit my brother, just me, not hubby or anyone else. Anyway, my son bought me a talking Walter doll and said it was so I wouldn't miss his dad, ROFL!

My dad was more like Howard Cunningham from Happy Days and my mom was a pretty good mix of Kitty Foreman and Marion Cunningham.

I hear you. Trying to explain a cross between Happy Days and That 70's show would have been hard to imagine too, LOL!

IMO, there's only two sit coms ever where the kids were truly funny: Leave It To Beaver and Malcom In The Middle. And Cloris Leachman was hilarious in Malcom too.

I remember I started watching that show when it came out when I was 11 almost 12.

I still watch it to this day and never get tired of it. It's a great show.

I love this scene. The Car fight at the mall between the 2 women.

  • It was just me and my mom when I was growing up so I was able to relate to "Gilmore Girls" a lot. I liked the show but watching it was so depressing sometimes because it was so similar to what I was going through at home.

Malcolm in the Middle, now that was an awesome show. Francis was my favorite =)
