    There's a lot of roads like that right here in the US (trust me on that one). The first time I got onto one I told my then fiancee to stop the car I had to get out. He asked if I wanted to drive - so I thought the control might help. I drove about 40 feet then stopped and got out with the dog and walked to where the road widened into a normal road again. So much for the fear of heights.

    The road up Antero is (or was - haven't been there in a few decades) so bad that people would just abandon their rigs on it. I never even tried it. Just climbed up the side of the damned mountain instead. Some roads are just better hiked than driven.
