Google again
I love and hate google at the same time but a little more on the hate side. I get about 95% of my traffic from google so that is good. I put my websites together not according to what they want but according to how I do things and that is correctly. However my problem with them now is there google analytics.
It seems like just when you get everything figured out and know how to use it well they have to change it again so you have to spend days if not weeks figuring out how to use it and where to find everything again. Also I know it is free but now it seems that are going to start a pay version so you can get some of the things you used to get for free like keywords.
I remember when I first started using analytics and every line in the keyword section had what keyword people used and now I am lucky to see more then one or two keywords listed. Without knowing what keywords people are using how can I change things around when I need to.
I asked google why this has changed and they said it is to protect the users privacy. Now I don't really understand that because unless they, meaning google tell us who the users are how in the world would we ever know who the user is. We don't get the IP address in analytics or there home address or anything like that so how is not giving us the keywords used be protecting anyone's privacy.
