How to deal with a dishonest WF member?

Has anyone experienced the same problem as me with a marketer called [deleted]? He was the same guy behind Epic Win Tube'r

Way back in May he was selling a program for $497 to 10 people where he was to make a video for you where promised to get you ranked on Page one of Google

Unfortunately he made one excuse after another but still assured me he was a man of his word and thanked me for being patient.

He explained that he was busy with his clickbank launch amongst other things
I am ,still waiting and although he did reply periodically in the first 4 months, since I have requested a refund he has never replied

I don’t want to damage the man’s reputation , It is just that he hasn’t fulfilled his part of the contract and would love to know if any Warriors
can help with getting him to reply

I would think it's a little late for that since you have already outed him by name which is against the forum rules to do so.

  • Still, I'm curious. How do you deal with a dishonest WF member. I do know one but I don't know what's the procedure on how to report it to WF.

Report them through the help desk link. Typically, there's not much the forum can do because the forum isn't part of the transaction. However, the forum may ban the user if sufficient evidence is submitted.

If the mentioned man is as unscrupulous as described, then I'm more than happy to know his name. The forum masters of this site don't always seem too concerned to discipline the scheisters IMO.

Scheisters get banned. If you're aware of someone scamming people on the forum, provide detailed info to the help desk.

        Dan,

Hey! We do not have policies against lawyers posting here. In fact, some of my best friends know people who are acquainted with lawyers. But only professionally. (As my friend Anne says, "98% of lawyers give the other 2% a bad name.")

        Close.

Use the little red triangle to report it to the mods. The help desk is for other things.

David seems to be a bit less than fully educated on the process. His way of approaching a dispute seems to be "Bash the poster until you get what you want, and blame the mods for not reading every post made in every thread every day."

If he is referring to the 'problem' I think he is, the seller offered him a refund and he refused it. At that point, it's outside the scope of the moderators of this forum.

Hint to David: If you refuse a refund offered in good faith, you're on your own. At that point, the ONLY thing we will hold the seller responsible for is honoring the refund.

Fair enough. I've never considered the "report a post" triangle for purposes of potential fraud, but, yeah, makes sense now that I think about it.

            Dan,

The help desk is for technical issues, concerns of people who have already been banned, and folks who can't reach a moderator. (The "court of last resort" for the terminally transitioned, so to speak.)
I've never considered the "report a post" triangle for purposes of potential fraud
As a general rule, if you report fraud to the mods, I'm the one most likely to end up looking into it at the moment. And I'm one of those miserable sunuvabeaches who asks questions and looks for evidence that can be verified.

If it's "obvious" but can't be proved, we don't ban the seller. We just close their offer and refuse to allow them to advertise here in the future. Same effect, without the need for public commentary. Enough 100% legit sellers choose to avoid the perceived perils of open discussion that any assumption other than "S/He chose differently" would be foolish.

Demonstrably and maliciously false accusations directed toward a seller? Usually, the response is to nuke the lying creep. Some scumbag who is willing to try to destroy a person's business because they wouldn't give them an extorted freebie deserves things I can't legally endorse or recommend in a public venue. Suffice it to say, those things would not be pleasant.

Such stuff is pretty uncommon, percentage-wise. But it happens often, in an absolute sense. Folks who've been around long enough, or who have seen behind the moderator's curtain, know: Lies come from all directions.

I did Dan. Was told 'bad opinion wasn't spread over the site' so nothing got done. Even though another Warrior had also complained about person in question.

So, Paul -- are you sure it isn't just better to hunt them down? Cheap entertainment anyhow, huh.
