When I watch Youtube videos with my son, 3 1/2, he clicks on the Skip Ad button as soon as he sees it and says, "How annoying."

I do likewise on threads like this.

Not really serious, thunderbollocks. Only there's only so much 3.5 year old infantile puerility one can take on an adult after hours forum. What do you expect? . . a cheerleader brigade for your son.

No offence intended, and please don't take it that way. The odd thread is fine. It's just that, "my son saw the sun", or "my son saw a worm", or "my son created this", or "my son created that" . . . you know what I mean.

We're all proud dads, each and every one of us. But I - for one - don't feel the need to broadcast my children's every single movement on an IM forum (albeit the OT section). There's such a thing as overkill.

Just saying (probably what others are thinking but are too sensitive to say).

I'm sure he's a great lad. Just tell his nan and grandad that. You'll get equivalent "thanks", I'm sure.

Hey, Horny Devil, I have good news. You don't have to read threads or posts that displease you. For example, as soon as I picked up the tone of your post, I skipped it.

      Hence your reply.

I knew you'd take it the wrong way.

You come across as an intelligent, caring man. There must be more you've got to say than kindergarten related. *Thinks, maybe*.
